Working alongside Eastern Blok, AntiGravity was tasked with producing an animation to showcase how The University of Manchester holds social responsibility at the heart of what they do, alongside their commitments to world-class research and outstanding learning and student experience.

To do this we worked directly with The University of Manchester to produce a video that showcases the five key areas that the Social Responsibility team aim to tackle in their Social Responsibility and Civic Engagement Plan. This included initiatives such as social inclusion, better health and environmental sustainability.

From sketched-out storyboards to final execution, it was a pleasure to work with Lisa Govey, Dr Julian Skyrme & Bogdan Niculescu to bring this vision of a more sustainable and socially responsible university to life. The film was launched to The University of Manchester staff with a live showing at the MAD awards in Manchester.

Once it was launched at the event, we utilised the film by creating short-form content out of bitesize chunks of the animation to be promoted across social media and The University of Manchester’s YouTube channel.
